All About Us
Hello from Country Roots!
Welcome to Country Roots Kids! My name is Joelle. When I was little, my elementary school had a summer day camp that I went to for a few hours a week where I could make friends, projects, and have fun…and perhaps, in hindsight, there was an element for my mom of not hearing “I’m bored” for those precious hours.
Now that my daughter has children, she is also hearing "I'm bored" far too often. This has inspired my daughters and I to start this program. We are excited to offer 3 optional sessions of summer day camp for ages 4-8 June-July 2025!
About the Program
We will be learning through play and exploring different themes. We will be all outside every day! Our day camp will consist of whole group time with stories and music, various outdoor stations with art, literacy, and STEM activities built around a weekly theme. (You can read more about this on the "Outdoor Summer Program 2025" blog page.)
